The Federal Government has made an oral application before Justice Nicholas oweibo of the Federal High Court Lagos to withdraw the charge of illegal possession of Firearms against former CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele.
The Federal Government says its decision is informed by emerging facts and circumstances of the unfolding case which requires closer investigation.
