The Nasarawa State Government has flagged off the sensitization of its Indigenes on the essence of the state’s emblem and anthem.
The exercise is targeted at convincing indigenes of the state to be abreast with the stanzas of the anthem and meanings of the emblem in order to entrench peace and unity.

The state’s anthem and emblem were coined after a thorough selection from entries by a committee constituted by the state government.
It has now gotten the approval of the state government and this gathering is to enlighten and sensitize members of the public on their essence.
The Nasarawa State Governor wants indigenes of the state to familiarize themselves with the stanzas and put them to practice.
The governor feels that it would entrench peace, unity and harmony in the state.
The traditional institution and the state lawmakers assure of their maximum support in ensuring that this legacy is sustained.
Approval has been given to step down the sensitization to the 13 local governments of the state.
