Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) has postponed the 28th Nigerian Economic Summit earlier scheduled to hold from October 24-25, 2022.
The postponement according to sources has the blessing of the federal government.
The postponement is due to unforeseen scheduling challenges with the chosen date said to be conflict with the Federal Executive Council retreat.
The 28th Nigerian Economic Summit (NES #28) has now been rescheduled to hold from November 14-15, 2022, at the Transcrop Hilton, Abuja.
The hybrid Summit will convene national and global leaders in government, business, politics, development, civil society, and the academia to deliberate on the theme ‘2023 and Beyond: Priorities for Shared Prosperity’.
The event has been scheduled to headline President Muhammad Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan; Finance Minister Zainab Ahmed, and Chairman, NESG, Asue Ighodalo, amongst others as speakers.
