Lockdown: Motorcycle riders set up task force to arrest violators

The three Commercial Motorcycle Riders Unions in Ogun State have set up a taskforce to enforce governor Dapo Abiodun’s directive of one passenger per motorcycle and the use of facemask by the rider and passenger.

They also appealled to the Governor not to place a ban on their activities in the state.

Worried by the pronouncement of Governor Abiodun who threatened to place a ban on the Operations of commercial Motorcycles in Ogun State, the unions have constituted a task force to arrest Violators of the directive.

They appreciated the Governor who is working tirelessly in ensuring that the spread of Coronavirus and promised to support him through proper enforcement and monitoring of their members.

The unions noted that the Taskforce are selected at Unit, branch and local government and State level.  Members were told not to operate during lockdown
