The Int’l summit of leaders have held an event which took place on Saturday at the Nigeria National Merit Award House, Maitama, Abuja with the theme: “Education & Agriculture – Tools for sustainable Development in Africa.”
The summit which was chaired by Dr Oyedokun Ayodeji Oyewole had other eminent Nigerians including Former VC Afe Babalola University, Prof Sidi Osho; Dutch Council for International Business (Netherlands), Prof Dewanand Mahadew and the Coordinator, Int’l summit of leaders, Amb Olufemi Rasheed on the panel of discussion.
The panel resolved that for Africa to key into 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted by the United Nations General Assembly, the continent needs to invest heavily in agriculture and education so as to become self sustaining in food production and further export finished products to the rest of the world.
During the event, the head of the team from Swiss School of Business Management to Nigeria, Mrs Mariarita Mercurio conferred honorary awards on some Nigerians who have made landmark in their chosen careers including track records of significant improvements in their various organizations.
Awardees honoured at the event include Head of Media and Public Relations, Caleb University, imota, Lagos, Dr Elvis Otobo, Prof. Dokubo Isaac Nwojiewho, Amb. Dr Akeem Olufemi Rasheed, Mrs. Funmi Omo and a host of others.
