Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has assured members of the state’s Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria that he will find a lasting solution to the lingering crises between the union and the Judicial Service Commission in the state.

The members of the union had stage protest on the road, barricading the governor from proceeding to his destination until their needs are met.
Despite inheriting the dispute from his predecessor, the governor had a stopover to attend to yearnings of the union members.
The union had since November 2018 embarked on an indefinite strike action as a result of a deduction in their salaries and demotion of its members by the Judicial Service Commission in the State.
Since the union embarked on the strike action, it protests grew as the day went by. One of such protests, led to the allege obstruction of the court sitting of the Chief Justice of the state.
This earned 20 of its members who participated in the protest outright dismissal from the commission. The intervention by the governor is expected to bring an end to the lingering dispute between the union and the commission.
