United States President, Donald Trump, has signed an executive order, imposing new sanctions on Iran.
He says the sanctions will target Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
This comes amid increased tensions between the long-time foes and Tehran’s downing of a U.S. drone last week.
Tehran says the drone was flying in its airspace, which Washington has denied.

President Trump says the sanctions would have been imposed regardless of the incident.
