The Ijaw Youth Council and some leaders in the Niger Delta have rejected the apology of Inspector General Of Police, Ibrahim Idris over the raid of Elder Statesman Edwin Clark’s home few days ago. Rising from a meeting at the Ijaw House in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State Capital, President of the IYC Oweilaemi Pereotubo, Niger Delta human rights campaigners Ankio Briggs and Timi-Kaizer Ogoriba described the incident as
an affront on the Ijaw nation.
