Five members of a family have been killed by armed herders at Mbiya central village of Taraba State.
The attackers wiped out the family of one Sunday Sabon before setting the entire village ablaze.
Locals say the attack was well coordinated, and Taraba State governor, Darius Ishaku condemned the act and condoled with the families of the victims.

The attack is coming at a time there has been a national debate over self-defence following a call by former Defence Minister, Theophilus Danjuma that Nigerians should defend themselves.
