Some State lawmakers have praised the recent endorsement by the Governors Forum to create state police to address insecurity challenges in the country.
The National Assembly is expected to append such proposal in the ongoing constitution amendment process.
Lagos State lawmakers have indicated their readiness to back such move if the amended process gets to the state assembly.
