Succour may have come the way of residents of Ilesa, as Governor Rauf Aregbesola has inaugurated the Ilesa water supply and sanitation project valued at 48.7 billion naira.
The project said to be the singular biggest project in the western region is expected to be completed in 24 months.
Aregbesola encouraged private individuals to bid for distribution network of the water for quick completion of the project.
The lawmaker representing Ijesa South federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Ajibola Famurewa said the project would go a long way in addressing people’s sufferings.

On completion, the water project with its dam at Kajola will have the capacity to produce 60 million litres of water per day.
