The Lagos Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi held a briefing with Area Commanders and Assistant Commissioners in the command to further fortify the state during and after the Sallah holidays.
The critical security issues discussed with officers are the supervisory roles of the Area commanders as managers to their workforce.
The CP said the Inspector General of Police has directed he rids Lagos of corrupt practice amongst officers and men in the state.
He charged the commanders to involve themselves in effective patrol and visit their men on duty at anytime to ensure compliance and effective oversight duties.

The CP says officers taking bribes at counter level to incident cases before investigation, station guard, traffic section must stop.
