Two would-be female suicide bombers suspected to be members of the so-called Boko Haram group have been intercepted and killed by local hunters in Waga village, Madagali Local Government of Adamawa State about 11am this morning.
Secretary General of the Nigeria Hunters Association, Garba Tarfa told TVC News that the bombers were killed in a gun battle.
According to him, the suicide bombers were heading toward the local government head quarters when they were seen.
He further explained that a week ago, the group invaded a village in the local government despite the effort of the local government chairman to rid the area of insurgents.
He disclosed that three members of the outlawed sect have been arrested by his men and handed over to the military authority.
