Image result for Rangers fire coach Imama AmapakaboNigerian champions Enugu Rangers have sacked their head coach, Imama Amapakabo. The coach revealed on his Twitter handle that his contract has been terminated by the Flying Antelopes, who are currently bottom of the NPFL table.

Amapakabo led Rangers to their first league title in over 30 years last season and signed a two-year contract with the club, but only saw out just over a year of the deal.

His assistant Chukwuma Agbo will take charge of the team in an interim capacity until a new head coach is appointed.

The club had earlier asked the coach to step aside from his position for security reasons.
