The International Organization for Migration has offered to help the Libyan government improve conditions for migrants in the north African country.
Director General, William Swing made this known after meeting with Libyan officials at the Foreign Affairs headquarters in Tripoli.
He told them his organisation could help with the upgrades after visiting one centre that he noted was very crowded.
Thousands of Libyans have been displaced as a result of internal conflicts that have lasted for six years since the ousting of former leader Muammar Gaddafi.
