The department of petroleum resources sealed a proposed site for the building of a petrol station, citing non-suitability of the property for that purpose.
Residents of the area have raised an alarm that work has resumed on the site, even after the department of petroleum resources put a stop work order sticker on the building.
A visit to the site by newsmen showed that work has indeed returned to the sealed site and the director of operations, Lagos zone, department of petroleum resources clearly stated that there is still no approval for the construction of a petrol station in the area.
