Rivers rerun : INEC announces more results

The Independent National Electoral Commission has announced more results in the Rivers state rerun elections conducted on Saturday.

In Okrika Ogu/Bolo federal constituency, Gogo Tamuno of the PDP emerged winner with 11,668 votes to defeat Maureen Tamuno of the APC who got 5,995 votes.

In Khana/Gokana federal constituency, Maurice Pronen of the APC won with 68,219 votes
His PDP opponent Dumnamene Dekor got 20,329 votes.

In Tai/Oyigbo/Eleme federal constituency, Barry Mpigi of the APC emerged winner, with 48,760 votes, beating Jacobson Nbina of the PDP, who got 11,737 votes.

In Khana state constituency 2, it was Friday Nkeeh of the APC who won with 15,000 votes, while Dinebari Loolo of the PDP got 4,000 votes.

Abinye Pepple of the PDP won in Bonny state constituency, defeating Henry Halliday of the APC.

In Gokana state constituency, Innocent Barikor of the APC won with 24,624 votes

A total of 21 seats were contested in the election – three in the senate, eight at the house of representatives, and 10 at the state house of assembly.
