Referees to get $253 per match in new season

Image result for Referees to get $253 per match in new seasonReferees that will officiate in the 2016/ 2017 Nigeria Pro-Football League season, will earn 80,000 naira – that’s about 253 dollars per match.

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Referees consultant, Linus Mba, says the amount is inclusive of indemnities, and transportations.

According to him, younger referees would be introduced in the coming season, as a measure of building trust and experience

A total of 50 referees and 130 assistant referees have passed the screening exercise to officiate in the new NPFL season.
