President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick says negative statements and write-ups about the NFF are the reasons why investors are not showing interest in the nation’s football.
Pinnick says several allegations raised recently about the running of the country’s football are not in the interest of the game.
He says investors aim to associate with what is positive and credible, but Nigerian sports according to him have been savaged by negativity.
Pinnick laments different interpretations to the FIFA audit query, which he describes as confidential and a matter between the FIFA-appointed auditor and the NFF.
He says the issue has been blown out of proportion with some people concluding that NFF embezzled money.
