TVC”s Ayodeji Moradeyo repots that with the governorship election fast approaching, the governorship candidate of the Alliance for Democracy, Olusola Oke is moving round to woo the electorate to his side.
This time, his campaign train visited Ese-Odo local government where rallies were organised in different communities.
Some of the communities visited by Oke included Agadagba Obon, Arogbo, Igbotu among others.
Oke while addressing party supporters at Arogbo, regretted that the neglect of the area and its attendant hardship had left the people wallowing in poverty.
The AD governorship hopeful promised to reposition the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC) to return it to a productive development agency for the provision of necessary amenities and life-transforming projects in the riverine areas.
At Igbotu, Oke urged the people to vote for AD in the coming election to redress all the wrongs, neglect and injustice.
He noted that since former Governor Olusegun Agagu left office in 2009, oil producing communities in the state have been neglected.
The rallies were attended by many supporters of the AD in the area.
