The Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Nasiru Muazu Magarya, on his appointment as Federal Commissioner representing Zamfara State in the National Population Commission (NPC).
In a statement, the party described the appointment, approved by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as well-deserved, citing Magarya’s contributions to legislative development and governance in the state.
The APC said Magarya distinguished himself during his tenure as Speaker through the passage of impactful laws and effective oversight, which it noted helped stabilise the Zamfara State House of Assembly.
The party expressed confidence that he would continue to represent the state effectively in his new role and serve as a worthy ambassador of Zamfara.
It also commended key political figures in the state, including Governor Dauda Lawal, Minister of State for Defence Bello Mohammed Matawalle, and Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, for their contributions to the state’s development.
The party reiterated its congratulations to Magarya and wished him success in his new national assignment.
