The  National Deputy  Vice Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Umar Illiya Damagum says he is confident that the  protesting five PDP Governors led by Nyesom  Wike of Rivers state will work for the victory of the party Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar and others in their various states.

Fielding questions from reporters at the party’s Presidential and  Governorship campaign rally in Adamawa state Damagum says that the internal wrangling within the party will not affect its political fortune of rescuing the nation from the claws  of APC come 2023.

He assured Nigeria that there is no cause for alarm over the prolong internal wrangling in the PDP stressing by no mean  it would  stop the party from producing the next president come 2023.

The fall out of the national convention of the PDP  resulted to protest by five  aggrieved governors who have been  demanding  for the  resignation of the national chairman of the party basing their  argument on national representative and equality.

Meanwhile, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has faulted the ongoing fight against corruption led by President Muhhamadu Buhari administration.

The governor advised  president Muhhamadu Buhari to spearheaded  constitution amendment that will allow  separation of the office of the Federal government from the accountant general of the federation.

He alleged that the  office of Accountant general of the Federation is been used to manipulation and  diversion of local governments funds.

The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has not been the only Politician who has raised issues with the recently imposed cash withdrawal limit by the Central Bank of Nigeria with several Other stakeholders in the Banking, Finance and allied Sectors also complaining about the impediment it will cause their businesses.

Others have also complained that the limit and the insistence by the Central Bank of Nigeria on going cashless will also come with the oft repeated Nigerian factor like network issues and Other challenges.
