The Katsina state Governor Aminu Bello Masari said the war on banditry and kidnapping can only be over when all idps are back to their villages.
The Governor was speaking in Faskari one of the worst hit local governments.
The existence of IDP camps to this moment is an indication that the protracted problem of insecurity is yet to be resolved

Many families now live away from their ancestral homes and survive on humanitarian aid.
In response to the persistent call by the state for more support and interventions, a group of the political appointees of Katsina origin by the federal government decided to donate items worth millions of naira.
The state government appreciates the gesture and reaffirms its resolve to put more pressure on appropriate authorities to see to the end to security challenges.
