Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has broken his silence over circulating rumours linking him to alleged marital troubles between fellow actor Bambam and her husband, Teddy A.

Speculation began following the release of Arukwe and Bambam’s 2025 YouTube film, Love In Every Word, which gained significant online attention. In the wake of the film’s popularity, social media users began suggesting that the pair’s on-screen chemistry may have contributed to tension in Bambam’s marriage.

Responding to the claims, Arukwe dismissed the allegations as false and malicious, insisting that his relationship with Bambam is strictly professional. He disclosed that he has identified a social media account allegedly responsible for spreading the claims and warned of impending consequences.

“A specific account has been identified to spread false rumors and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with another colleague in the industry. I choose not to quote the account directly, as I refuse to give such accounts the engagement they seek at the risk of jail time,” he wrote.

He further cautioned that legal steps would be taken to deter similar behaviour online.

“Believe me when I say this: that individual will be made a scapegoat so others learn to respect boundaries and refrain from chasing clout and Elon Musk money at the expense of damaging someone else’s reputation”.

The controversy comes amid heightened scrutiny of Bambam and Teddy A’s marriage, with online commentators speculating about possible strain.

While Bambam has not directly addressed the rumours, she recently shared a video of herself and her husband on social media without commenting on the allegations.

Teddy A, on his part, has publicly denied previous domestic violence claims, describing them as untrue.
