Unknown gunmen attacked and killed the acting village head of a village in Plateau state.
Family members told newsmen in Jos that the killers invaded Mohammed Suleiman’s house in Gyangyang village on Friday and killed him.

The gunmen carried sophisticated weapons and stationed some of their men outside the house to ensure that nobody interfered with their operation.
The Chairman of Kanam Local Government area, Hamidu Bale, confirmed the incident but the Plateau Police Command says it is yet to be briefed about the incident.
