
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) said there is no evidence of underage voting in Kano state, contrary to what many have reported, especially on social media.Chairman of the committee set up by the electoral body Abubakar Nauche, said this at a press conference on Friday.

INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, had instituted the panel following allegations that minors participated in last month’s local government election in the state.
But Nahuce said there is no evidence that the pictures were from the Kano exercise, and attributed some of them to Kenya.
