A training aircraft at the International Aviation College, Ilorin reportedly crashed Friday evening with no death recorded.
The incident reportedly happened at the Runway 5 of the Babatunde Idiagbon international airport, Ilorin.
The aircraft was said to have veered off the runway and stopped on the grass verge.
TVC News gathered that two persons, a trainee and an instructor were on training practical when the aircraft clash-landed.
The duo were said to be seriously injured and have since been rushed to a hospital.
In its reaction, Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau said it has commenced investigation into the incident.
In a statement by the Bureau’s Director of Public Affairs and Family Assistance, Mrs Bimbo Oladeji, a team will be deployed from Abuja to Ilorin to conduct on-site investigations.
