About twenty four soldiers have left their base to a safer military facility after they survived an attack on Friday in at Magumeri local government area, Borno state.
Suspected Boko Haram fighters were said to have killed fifteen other soldiers in this attack.
TVC news gathered from residents in the area that the terrorists rode into the area and attacked a brigade there.
“A captain, a lieutenant and thirteen soldiers lost their lives following intense firefight with the terrorists.

“Nineteen soldiers were wounded in the attack. They have been evacuated to the military hospital in Maiduguri for treatment”.
Heavy military equipment, including anti-aircraft machine guns vehicles, were reportedly stolen by the insurgents during the attack.
But the army has not issued a statement about the attack.
