No fewer than 26 villagers have been kidnapped by terrorists who invaded the Runka community in Katsina State.
Information available indicates that the terrorists, who disguised themselves in female abayas, invaded the community at the weekend at about 2230 hrs and started shooting sporadically.
Thereafter, the terrorists kidnapped their victims, mostly women and children.

However, a yet-to-be-identified informant of the terrorists residing in the community was heard when one of the terrorists was exchanging pleasantries with him.
Meanwhile, security forces, including police and military, have been deployed to the community to commence rescue missions for the kidnapped victims.
