Senator Ned Nwoko briefed his colleagues on the tragic abduction of 19 persons including his senior legislative Aide who was later killed by his abductors The lawmaker recalls with sadness that the distressing news has become one Tragic loss too many as he calls for more drastic measures to beef up security within the FCT . The Senate sympathised with the lawmaker over the death of his senior aide and adopted all resolutions made in the motion . The senate also resolved to invite the minister of the FCT Minister and the Commissioner for the FCT Police Command for a closed session to obtain detailed report of efforts being made to tackle rising insecurity within the FCT . The Senate observed a minute of silence in honour of victims of bandit attacks and insecurity .
