South West governors, former Osun State governor and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, as well as former Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, are among top dignitaries expected at the forthcoming Consolidated APC Grassroots Movement (CAGram) South West Summit 2026.
The Director-General of the Tinubu Ambode Support Group, Dr Seyi Bamgbade, disclosed this in Lagos, describing the summit as a defining moment of collective responsibility for party stakeholders across the region.
He urged stakeholders to intensify outreach, deepen engagement and sustain grassroots momentum towards the national stage.
According to him, notable figures expected at the summit include Senator Solomon Adeola (YAYI); the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu; the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo; and member of the House of Representatives, James Abiodun Faleke.
Also expected are the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudasiru Obasa, and Mr Seyi Tinubu.
Other prominent leaders billed to attend include Ekiti State Governor, Abiodun Oyebanji; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa; and Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun.
Bamgbade noted that the summit, convened by the APC grassroots mobilisation team under the CAGram platform, would serve as a rallying point for unity, strategy and renewed commitment to the party’s progressive ideals in the region.
“As Nigeria witnesses the ongoing implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the South West continues to demonstrate unwavering commitment to strengthening the foundation of progressive governance,” he said.
The summit, themed, “Consolidating the Renewed Hope Agenda: Mobilising 10 million votes for PBAT 2027,” is designed to energise party structures, harmonise grassroots strategies and reinforce collective resolve to secure overwhelming electoral support across the zone.
Bamgbade described the gathering as a strategic convergence aimed at expanding the party’s influence from the ward to the national level, stressing that it goes beyond a routine political meeting.
He added that the anticipated participation of Ambode, Oyetola and other APC stalwarts reflects growing unity within the party and a shared commitment to consolidating gains and strengthening cohesion ahead of future elections.
