Stuttgart Open : Pouille to face Lopez in final

Spaniard Feliciano Lopez will meet Lucas Pouille in his first final in almost a year after beating local favourite Mischa Zverev 6-7, 7-6, 7-5 at the Stuttgart Open on Saturday.

Lopez can now win his 3rd title on the surface to add to his 2 victories in Eastbourne in 2013 and 2014.

4th seed Lucas Pouille beat fellow Frenchman Benoit Paire on Saturday to book his place in the final, where he’ll face Lopez.

Pouille edged past Paire in a finely-balanced encounter where one single break in the entire match was enough for a 7-6, 7-5 victory.
