Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, on a one-day working visit to represent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at a series of official engagements in the state.

Shettima was received at the Ekiti Agro-Allied International Cargo Airport by Governor Biodun Oyebanji and other senior government officials.

This was disclosed in a post via the X handle of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President), Stanley Nkwocha, on Tuesday, June 9.

During the visit, the Vice President is expected to perform the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ekiti Knowledge Zone (EKZ), a project aimed at driving innovation, technology and economic development in the state.
