Senator representing Anambra South senatorial zone on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Ifeanyi Ubah is dead.
He was confirmed dead by a United Kingdom Hospital
He was aged 52 years.
The Anambra State serving Senator left Nigeria two days ago for London, United Kingdom, before the unfortunate incident happened.
His death was also confirmed on a group chat of the senators who had started to pour in tributes.
The oil mogul and politician joined the All Progressives Congress, APC, a few months ago, in a bid to seek the party’s ticket ahead of the Anambra State 2025 governorship election.
Just days ago, his campaign council donated a total of N71 million to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State chapter, bolstering the party’s presence and strength in the region.
The donation, which includes N50million from Senator Ubah himself, was part of his pledge to support the party and enhance its effectiveness in the state.
Details of his demise are still scanty as of the time of filing this report.
This is coming few days after the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu passed on.
