The Senate has announced a reshuffle in its leadership positions with the removal of its Chief Whip, Ali Ndume, from Borno State and his replacement with Tahir Monguno also from Borno State.
The Senate also announced a reshuffle of its Standing committees with the Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal matters now to be headed by Senator Adegbonmire Adeniyi from Ondo Central while the Senate Committee on Appropriations now has a new Deputy Chairman in Tahir Monguno from Borno North Senatorial district.
Others are Senate Committee on Tourism to be headed by Senator Ali Ndume from Borno South while he has Senator Anthony Ani as the Deputy Chairman from Ebonyi South with the Senate Committee on National Identity Card and National Population is now headed by Senator Abdul Ningi from Bauchi Central.
Other Committees are Livestock Development headed by Musa Mustapha Yobe East and Reparation and Repatriation headed by Senator Ned Nwoko from Delta North.
