In anticipation of the nationwide protest scheduled for August, a combined team of security personnel in Oyo State is set to conduct a show of force.
The team totaling 352 comprises members of the Nigeria Police, Civil Defense, Department of State Security Service, Southwest Security Network (Amotekun), Nigerian Army, Nigeria Customs, and Nigeria Correctional Service.

In his address, the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Ayodele Sonubi, stated that the show of force aims to reassure residents of the state’s readiness to protect lives and maintain law and order.
