Former governor of Plateau, Jonah Jang, in his comments, blamed the spread of the killings to towns on sabotage.
He said, “We still believe that we are a home of peace and tourism, and by God’s grace, we will continue to be. Mr President, I want to join Gbong Gwom and the governor for a meeting in Abuja, for us to have a heart-to-heart and find a solution to it.
“The fact that it has gone from the villages to the towns is a dimension that I think some people want to sabotage this coming election, and by the grace of God, we will not allow them. You have been doing a fantastic job for the nation, and some people think that they want to spoil it at the tail end of this first term, but by the grace of God, you will come back to complete the work.
