Organisers of the impending nationwide protest scheduled have continued to engage with groups and affiliations stating that they will go ahead with all plans to ground activity.

in the last few days , President Bola Tinubu has made a fervent appeal to the youths asking them to give him more time to address the issues for which the planned strike is being called.

Meetings have been held with important government departments, including the Ministry of Information, Security, Intelligence, and the military, to ensure the safety of people and property.

The federal government has clarified Nigerian citizens’ right to peaceful protest.

The military is emphasizing the message of peaceful protests and advising criminal elements to refrain from using the planned protests to unleash violence on unsuspecting members of the public.

General Edward Buba, the director of defense media operations, told journalists that the military is prepared to deploy if the police are overwhelmed, and he warned that a state of anarchy will not be tolerated as the intended outcome of peaceful protests because it has the potential to destabilize the country.

APC governors have also organized meetings, urging demonstrators to engage in discussion and giving the president more time to provide solutions aimed at improving quality of life and standard of living.
