About 13 people were reportedly killed and many hospitalised in Gidan Nagari community of Jigawa State.
The incident is believed to be a revenge attack by Fulani herders, who lost 11 people in a previous communal clash on Friday.

The cumulative number of lives lost in both incidents has risen to approximately 30, with many more hospitalised.
Dozens of houses were also set ablaze during the violence.
