Qatar Airways has announced the temporary suspension of all its flights to and from Doha following the closure of Qatari airspace.

The airline confirmed the development in a statement, noting that operations were halted due to the airspace restriction.

According to the carrier, it is working closely with government stakeholders and relevant authorities to support passengers affected by the disruption.

The airline assured that flight operations would resume once the airspace is reopened.

Qatar Airways also warned that delays are expected across its network when normal operations recommence.

To manage the situation, the airline said it has deployed additional ground staff at Hamad International Airport and other major airports to assist impacted travellers.

It stressed that the safety of its passengers and employees remains its highest priority and apologised for the inconvenience caused.

Passengers were advised to monitor updates via qatarairways.com, the Qatar Airways mobile application, and its official X channel.
