The Delta State Commissioner of Police, Olufemi Abaniwonda, has asked protesters in the State to adhere to the stipulated rules of demonstrating at a particular location, the reason some protesters were teargassed when they attempted to move from Inter-Bau to Summit road.

The commissioner who spoke to journalists in his office, also rates the protest across the state as peaceful affirming that his men and other security agents has carried out job professionally.
