Plateau Youth Council hold trauma healing summit for youths affected by banditry

A sensitisation and trauma healing summit for some selected youths across warring communities in Plateau State has been organised by the Plateau Youth Council.

The event is also aimed at promoting synergy among youths across the affected communities, with the security agencies, and the state government in the best interest of the state.

Tvc news correspondent, Funom Joshua, reports that the challenge of insecurity across some communities in Plateau State has caused deep seated distrust and disaffection among youths in the state.

So many lives and properties have been lost following the incessant attacks and killings in the affected communities.

The Plateau Youth Council organised a trauma-healing summit for youths across Mangu, Bokkos, and Barkin Ladi council areas that have suffered incessant attacks in recent times.

Experts from different fields were invited to talk to the victims on how to develop their mind and reconcile differences.

The event also focuses on promoting synergy among the youth,the security agencies, and the state government to achieve peace in the state.
