Governors elected under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party have resolved – with commitment to support and employ political solutions to end the political crisis in Rivers state.
This formed part of resolutions reached at their third PDP governors meeting in Enugu

After hours of deliberation, the Governors emerged from the closed door meeting with the resolution to push for a political solution to end the political crisis in Rivers state.
He also appealed that the off-season elections in Edo and Ondo states be in compliance with the electoral act, urging INEC to provide a level playing field.
On the organised Labour minimum wage negotiation, the forum sought restraint from all parties and refrain from actions that could lead to breakdown of law and order.
They promise to support the autonomy of the local government as enshrined in the constitution.
The People’s Democratic Party Governors said they stand with Nigerians in the face of the present economic situation and promise to restore the good old days if elected to form a government at the Centre.
