Thousands of Palestinians were wounded in clashes between protesters and Israeli troops along the Israel-Gaza border fence.
Scores of protesters gathered along the Israel-Gaza border, carrying Palestinian flags and hurling stones towards Israeli troops on the other side of the fence.
