The government of Osun have advised people living in flood-prone areas to immediately leave.
The rains have also been wreaking havoc in other parts of the country.
Governor Gboyega Oyetola visited some places affected by floods in Osogbo, the state capital.
Residents of various Communities in Osogbo have been experiencing flooding for the past two days.
The Governor took time to visit some of the areas affected in town. Properties worth millions of Naira have also been destroyed
Governor Gboyega Oyetola said he is not comfortable with the dumping of refuse on the waterways.
He also solicits federal government towards addressing the challenge.
While assuring that dredging of the waterways would commence immediately, the Governor urged those living in flood prone areas to vacate
