Ogun State traffic agency set to reduce road crashes

Image result for Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement CorpsThe Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps has hinted that the Corps is planning to introduce the TRACE Emergency Traffic Services, TETS in all nooks and crannies of the state in order to reduce the figures of road mishaps in the state.

The TRACE Commander, Seni Ogunyemi made this known in Abeokuta, while commenting on the myth behind the ’ember months’.

He said their is nothing spiritual about the months but people fail to observe the rules guiding driving during the periods.

He disclosed that 74 cases were recorded during the Eid El Adha, festive period and that resulted to the death of 22 persons, leaving 152 others injured.

He advised Ogun residents and other road users to plan their journey very well instead of rushing to meet the target, especially during festive season.
