The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has called on corps members and staff to reflect the values of sacrifice, renewal, hope and love during the Easter season.
In a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme said the season offers a profound reminder of virtues that align with its core mandate.
The NYSC encouraged members to embody these ideals in their daily conduct and interactions, noting that they remain central to promoting national unity and selfless service.
The statement urged corps members to remain committed to fostering mutual respect and drawing strength from Nigeria’s diversity, adding that collective resolve would help advance peace, unity and prosperity across the country.
It further expressed hope that the spirit of Easter would renew the commitment of members, deepen their sense of service and inspire fulfilment in their contributions to national development.
“May the spirit of Easter renew our strength, deepen our sense of service, and fill our hearts with hope and fulfilment. Nigeria is ours; Nigeria we serve,” the statement added.
