There is no sign of protest in Umuahia the capital city and across the state.
TVC News’s Gabriel Nnenna reports that it has been raining since morning in Umuahia and Aba, the two major cities in the State.
The rain started in the early hours of the day and as a result, most people have remained indoors. Few persons who are outside, are going about their normal businesses.

Commercial banks and most shops are closed and the roads are free.
Security personnel are also seen at strategic junctions.
