The North East Development Commission (NEDC) says it has put necessary measures in place to give prompt support to victims of the Gwoza bomb attack to help them recover in time.
Managing director of the Commission, Muhammed Alkali stated this while sympathising with the victims at the Borno State Specialist Hospital Maiduguri.’
Victims of the Gwoza bomb attack are responding to treatment.
They’ve been in the hospital for three days, and doctors are on their feet to provide medical care.
Following the event, the federal and state governments paid visits to sympathise with and help the victims.
The North East Development Commission also visited to do same.
The managing director promised to collaborate closely with the Borno State Government on how to best provide comprehensive help to survivors of the Gwoza bomb incident.
The number of released patients has grown to 20, but the death toll remains at 32.
Residents of Gwoza are going about their normal business activities, according to latest reports.
