The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society has announced plans to host a special programme to commemorate Laylatul Qadr during the holy month of Ramadan.
The society, which recently marked its 31st anniversary on March 5, 2026, said the event will bring together thousands of members and Muslims from Lagos, Ogun State and parts of West Africa for a night of prayers, reflection and spiritual renewal.
Tagged “Laylatul Qadr: The Night of Majesty,” the programme aims to promote devotion and unity among Muslims while highlighting the Qur’anic message that saving a life is akin to saving humanity.
Spiritual leadership for the gathering will be provided by the Chief Missioner of NASFAT, Abdulazeez Morufu Onike, who will guide worshippers through prayers and sermons focused on righteousness, perseverance and deeper connection with Allah.
The event will also feature guest speaker AbdulRaheem Alli Akewukewwe, whose lecture is expected to provide further spiritual insights and guidance for Muslims observing the sacred night.
According to the Central Working Ramadan Committee led by Sheriffdeen Akinpelu, the programme will hold at the NASFAT Islamic Centre from 10:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, until dawn.
President of NASFAT, Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, assured members that adequate security and logistics arrangements, including transportation support, have been put in place to ensure a safe and spiritually fulfilling experience for participants.
